Located on a large rural block in Wights Mountain,
The biggest change to the house will be the facade, currently a 2 storey brick rectangle with a gable roof, transformed into a modern piece of architecture that blends clean horizontal lines with spectacular vertical masses of stone. Counter-levered roofs and balconies extend out to elongate the previously flat facade to create plenty of articulation and interest. The design is clearly worked in with the existing to minimise the amount of demolition required, and keep as much structure as possible.
Internally a new entry, stair, living room, open plan kitchen, bathroom and master suite will all flow perfectly around the existing rear alfresco pool area.
